It works!

What was the problem? It was out of batteries. God dammit, Ian.

And now we return to Photo of the Day:

No photo! I have failed! I thought my camera wasn't working, so I left it at Nik's house for him to look at while I went to orientation at Columbia, the one place where I would have really wanted it. Oh well. I've done pretty damn well up until now, so I'll let it slide. At least I didn't miss it out of sheer laziness.

In return, here is a pretty darn cool song and music video from a band that I quite enjoy:

In other news, Nik and I have started a band. It all started with Nik being invited to a noise rock concert in Chicago via Facebook. We listened to a few of the bands that were to play there, and they were, collectively, the worst thing ever. I stated that Nik and I could do better with him writing the songs and me appealing to the young, hip (see: Hipsters) Chicago crowd that comes out to listen bands like this. Nik called my bluff, and Ian does not back down, which, incidentally, is what our first album is called (I_DN/BD). How far will we make it? Time will tell. Will I have fun being pretentious and fucking around during concerts in his basement because I don't actually play anything? Yes.

Without further ado, our MySpace page. I wrote the bio.
