BATTLETECH.

The birthday boy with his relatively new toy. Somehow, my other friend Nik had this figure in his basement. For those not educated in the ways of 80's children's shows, this is a figure from Battletech, and is about 15 years old. That I would stumble upon one drunk in Nik Brink's basement, sitting on a bookshelf just days before Billy's party is astounding. The great Cthulhu was certainly watching over me.

As a sidenote, I totally spelled 'Cthulhu' right on the first attempt.
