Epiphany, part deux.

In light of my new life philosophy as outlined below, I'm going to make an active effort to apply a great degree of action to my thought. To be all talk and no results is a great affront to what I can be, and thus I am compelled to action.

I believe greatly in training complete theatre professionals, those well-versed in the art of doing it all, and thus, I have to do it all. I'm going to start auditioning for shows at The Armory Free Theatre in addition to my usual roles there as props master for the larger shows, and assistant lighting designer/master electrician for the smaller one-acts that we do.

Also, I'll be cultivating my now limited abilities on the ukulele, an instrument picked, as I assume most ukuleles are, on a pure impulse. I enjoy the sound of it, however, and my future roommate, Garrett, has also picked one up. Perhaps we shall duel.

Yesterday, I found a cell phone on the ground. A wholly unremarkable event on it's own, the process of returning it to it's owner proved, as it always does, to be one that I take the gratest of pleasure in. Skimming the inbox of her (a few of the messages started with 'hey girl,' and most of the inbox names were female) phone, I picked the name that appeared the most frequently, and called her. Thankfully, she was home, and lives moments away. We met a few streets away, and I handed over the phone. Not that amazing, sure, but the entire experience just, well, made me feel good.

Today is a good day.
