Before the show, our department had our first Converge at Krannert event. I'm running short on time, so I'll be hella brief, and if you want elaboration just ask me later.
NOTE: My opinion is in response to the handful of people I heard complaining following the event.
We needed it. It was random, fun, and, yes, a waste of your fucking time. The fact that you're whining about it like a ten year old just proves that point. We, as a department, are too inside our own heads, and don't get to hang out and chill a little bit. This was an event where the fucking powers at be themselves sanctioned us to loosen up. If a Level 21 event can loosen the stick up the ass of certain members of the program, then I consider it a resounding success, and heartily call for more.
