Hell yeah.

I'm working on Reefer Madness!, as you all know, and man is turning out to be a good choice. Last night I was in the space until 2:00, organizing and running the props for the show, and building the set with a good friend from U of I. Today, I'll head in much earlier, at abour 12:00, to finish building the set, completely organize and clean the props area, and build a human heart out of two sponges, a needle and thread, and some stage blood.

My job is the best job. It is proven, with science.

The show, I'm pleased to report, is actually good. I'm leery of recommeding a show based solely based on the fact that I'm working on it. If it turns out to be trash, I have to either hear whoever I invited slam it, or hear them tell me that it was "really good, and you did a good job," even though I know that's some bullshit.

I digress.

The acting is solid all around, with some impeccable timing on everyone's part. We'll see how they do with audience applause, but I think they'll be fine. I get the feeling this isn't this cast's first rodeo. I also haven't groaned at a single gag yet, which is unusual. Normally, when a comedic show is being worked through, I'll find myself thinking "what a terribleidea" about at least one of their gags as they work through it.

So, go and see it. This one'll be worth it.
