As of now, my show assignments are gone.

Predictably, I am upset about this. The reasoning behind this unfortunate decision was made in a logical way, I admit. I've been doing rather poorly academically, and my advisers, in an effort to relieve some pressure from my GPA, took away my show assignments, which were two Properties Master positions and one assistant Charge Artist position. The problem is that those practicum assignments were the only things I was really looking forward to next year. I love working on shows, and if all I'll be doing is academic work, next year will be barely tolerable.

Not all is lost, though. There will be a small opportunity at the end of this semester to appeal my fate. Even if the verdict stands, I'll be working at The Armory Free Theatre, both as a technician and actor, if I have my way. Time will tell.
