I've got a phone call meeting set with the director of Killer Joe, the show I'm designing, tomorrow morning at 10:30. My first impression of him from the video conference was quite positive, so we'll see how that pans out tomorrow.

What has impressed me the most so far is his eagerness to hear from us, the designers. To that end, he has set up a Facebook group open to just the design team as a way for us to flex our creative muscles with no fear. He has by no means cut out the advisers to the students, but rather given us out own separate channel into which we may pour whatever we may.

That being said, I've got not real basis to judge him against, since he'll be the first director I've designed with. Hm. More thoughts tomorrow.
